Shunsuke Ishii and Masaya Nishihata, Research Assistants of the Social Implementation Group of the JST ERATO Kojima Market Design Project, Receive the 2025 Behavioral Economics Society Encouragement Award

Shunsuke Ishii (London School of Economics and Political Science), a Research Assistant of the Social Implementation Group of the JST ERATO Kojima Market Design Project—led by UTMD Director Professor Kojima as Research Director—has received the 2025 Behavioral Economics Society Encouragement Award for a co-authored paper with Hiroaki Hanyu (Hitotsubashi University), Suguru Otani (The University of Tokyo), and Kazuhiro Teramoto (Hitotsubashi University).
In addition, Masaya Nishihata (Keio University / Mitsubishi UFJ Research and Consulting), also a Research Assistant of the Social Implementation Group, has received the same award for his single-authored paper.

It is also noteworthy that Masaya Nishihata previously received the 2024 Behavioral Economics Society Encouragement Award for a co-authored paper with Suguru Otani (Project Assistant Professor, The University of Tokyo).
