Announcement of New Vice Director for UTMD

We are pleased to announce that Professor Yuichi Yamamoto has been appointed as the new Vice Director for the University of Tokyo Market Design Center (UTMD) as of April 1, 2025.

Former Vice Director, Professor Michihiro Kandori, retired from the Graduate School of Economics on March 31, 2025. He will, however, continue his research at the University of Tokyo as a University Professor and remain an active member of UTMD.
